The Challenge
What challenge or need led you to work with Claria Partners?

S.G. Torrice, a full-service distributor of heating and cooling equipment with 20 branches across New England, identified a need to strengthen leadership skills among its Branch Managers. As frontline leaders, these managers play a critical role in driving performance, culture, and employee engagement at each location.

The organization sought a leadership development program that would build skills in communication, coaching, feedback, and delegation. It was equally important that the experience reflect the fast-paced, hands-on nature of running a branch and align with the company’s core values.

How did Claria Partners help address that challenge?

Claria Partners designed and delivered a customized leadership development program tailored to the realities of branch operations. The workshops were highly interactive and practical, keeping participants actively engaged while building skills they could immediately apply.

The program focused on two key areas. Strengthening how leaders model company values in their branches, and equipping them to navigate everyday leadership challenges through effective communication, coaching, and feedback.

Following the success of the initial program, Claria expanded the engagement to include Assistant Branch Managers. This ensured leadership development was consistent across roles and scalable across the organization.

The Results
What results or impact did you see after working with Claria Partners?

The program drove strong engagement and immediate application of leadership skills. Branch Managers reported greater confidence in leading their teams, communicating expectations, and reinforcing company values.

The workshops also improved consistency across branches by aligning leaders around shared behaviors and best practices. Assistant Branch Managers developed stronger ownership and communication skills, further strengthening leadership capability across the organization.
