The Challenge
What challenge or need led you to work with Claria Partners?
During a period of organizational growth, Syndax Pharmaceuticals recognized increasing demand for learning and development across a wide range of topics. Employees were eager for development opportunities, and leaders wanted to ensure those offerings were meaningful, accessible, and aligned with the realities of the business.
At the same time, Syndax operated with a lean internal L&D function, making it difficult to design, facilitate, and scale high-quality programs internally. The organization needed a trusted partner who could provide both strategic support and hands-on execution, while adapting to Syndax’s culture, pace, and priorities.
Our Approach
How did Claria Partners help address that challenge?
Claria Partners partnered closely with Syndax to serve as an extension of its learning and development function. By providing expert instructional design and facilitation support, we worked collaboratively to customize content that reflected Syndax’s real-world challenges and day-to-day experiences.
Together, we delivered a mix of open enrollment workshops and intact team sessions, allowing Syndax to support both individual development and team-based learning. Over time, Claria’s facilitators became deeply familiar with Syndax’s culture, enabling consistent, trusted delivery that felt fully integrated rather than outsourced.
In addition, Claria supported the creation of a self-service learning library, expanding access to development resources across topics for both employees and people managers. This approach ensured learning was scalable, flexible, and available when and how teams needed it most.
The Results
What results or impact did you see after working with Claria Partners?
Syndax has seen strong and sustained engagement with its learning programs. Employees consistently provide positive feedback on Claria-facilitated workshops, and demand for intact team sessions has grown, particularly in conjunction with in-person offsites.
